Pocket Nappies
A bit about Pockets....
These nappies are the same shape as a disposable. Effectively they are the disposable you put in the washing machine instead of the bin!
They have an opening at the back which makes a pocket between the inner and outer layers of the nappy. This allows the nappy to be stuffed with absorbent inners and boosters to suit.
The Inner layer is usually made of fleece or suedecloth to keep babys bottom dry and the outer layer is a water proof material usually PUL. These pockets can be fastened by aplix or poppers.

A bit more info...
Pocket nappies are available in both the handy 'one size' and sized options. Most parents find pocket nappies handy for quick nappy changes on wriggly babies and toddlers. They are effectively no more fiddly than a disposable.
The main advantage of this nappy type is its quick drying time as the inners are removed for washing, also their very slim fit, mainly due to the adjustable levels of inserts.
They really are a popular nappy type especially as most are one size. In my experience are very easy to use. I wouldnt recommend pockets for newborns. Although they do fit, they are much better in function and fit from about 14lb
